These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and QuizCademy ("QuizCademy," "we," "us") governing your access to and use of our websites, applications, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a child, you do so as their parent or legal guardian.
The Service is intended for use by students together with a parent or guardian, and by educators we work with. A parent or guardian must create and manage accounts for students under 18 and is responsible for their use of the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it current. Parents may create and manage student profiles linked to their account. You may not share your account, use another person's account, or create an account on behalf of someone without their permission.
Membership is offered on a monthly subscription. Promotional pricing, where offered, applies for the stated period and renews at the standard rate unless cancelled. Optional live coaching is billed separately by the hour. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the fees that apply to your plan.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and access continues through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
You retain ownership of the content you submit, such as answers, uploads, and messages. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the rights to share it.
The Service, including its questions, lessons, software, and branding, is owned by QuizCademy or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for its intended educational purpose. You may not resell or redistribute our content.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information, and our Children's Privacy notice describes our commitments for students under 13. By using the Service you agree to those practices.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It is an educational tool and is not a substitute for professional or academic advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuizCademy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
