Children's Privacy (COPPA)

QuizCademy is built for families, and protecting children's privacy is central to how we work. This notice describes our practices for students under 13 and reflects our commitments under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Parents are in control

Accounts for children are created and managed by a parent or guardian. A child cannot sign up on their own. The parent decides what student profiles exist, what subjects they use, and can review or remove them at any time.

Information we collect from children

We collect only what is needed to provide the learning experience:

• Limited profile details a parent provides, such as a first name and grade level;
• Learning activity, such as answers, progress, and homework questions;
• Focus signals during practice — when the practice tab or window loses or regains focus, and how often — used only to show the student and parent focus insights, never for advertising; and
• Basic technical data needed to keep the Service secure and reliable.

We do not require a child to provide more information than is reasonably necessary to use the Service.

How we use it

We use a child's information only to provide and personalize their learning, to support the family, and to keep the Service safe. We do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it.

How we share it

We share a child's information only with service providers who help us operate the Service under contracts that restrict their use of it, with the parent who manages the account, or when required by law. We do not disclose children's personal information to third parties for their own purposes.

Parental rights

As a parent or guardian, you can at any time:

• Review the personal information we have collected from your child;
• Ask us to correct or delete that information; and
• Refuse further collection or use of your child's information by closing the profile or account.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify that you are the child's parent or guardian before acting.

Changes

If we change our children's privacy practices, we will update the date above and, where required, obtain parental consent.
