Curriculum Builder - Geometry
QuizCademy helps students get good at the hard subjects — coding, math, and science — through adaptive practice, homework help, and 1-on-1 coaching. We're looking for a Curriculum Designer to build the practice content at the heart of the product: standards-aligned topics, question blocks, and worked explanations that meet students where they are and move them to mastery. You'll own the quality and pedagogical soundness of a subject area, translating core curricula (Common Core, NGSS, College Board, and common CS frameworks) into the structured practice students see every day. This is a mission-driven role for someone who has taught the material, cares about getting it right, and wants their work in front of real learners. Part-time / contract to start, with room to grow.
What you'll do
- Design standards-aligned subjects, topics, and question blocks within our learning-panel structure
- Write clear questions, answer keys, hints, and step-by-step explanations across difficulty levels
- Map content to the relevant core standards (Common Core, NGSS, College Board / AP, CS frameworks) and document the alignment
- Sequence practice so difficulty adapts and skills build, not cram
- Review and edit AI-assisted drafts for accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical quality
- Partner with coaches and engineering to keep content consistent and student-friendly
- Iterate on content using student performance and feedback signals
What we're looking for
- Teaching, tutoring, or curriculum-design experience in at least one of: math, science, or computer science
- Deep command of the subject and its core standards for K-12 / early college
- Strong, plain-language writing and a knack for explaining hard ideas simply
- Comfort authoring at a computer and working from a content spec
- Bonus: credential or degree in education or the subject; experience with standards alignment; familiarity with edtech content tools
- Must pass our standard onboarding checks; work authorization required
